How are infants calculated in extra guests?

Hi I just had a request , which was for a couple, and their infant

The room is just a double bed for max two

When I looked at the booking request price breakdown  - it only seemed to  include the main nightly booking fee , plus £16 a night which I charge for the extra guest

So my question is , where would the infant fee occur? My settings are £16 per night , per extra guest   .  There is no provision for infant fees in my settings . Do they automatically count as zero by Airbnb , or half, or do they count as an extra guest?

@Simon364 In Airbnb land infants do not count as extra guests I am afraid. ie they count as zero

thanks, thats the simple explanation. Is there anyway i can make sure they cannot be booked on instant book?

@Simon364 all you can do is tick the 'unsuitable for infants' box. Its not perfect but should help
