We have the normal series of scheduled messages that would go out to our guests that I am looking to edit but can't seem to find where they are located now that the edit messages have changed? Currently all I can see are blank starter messages, not our existing messages.
Airbnb just calls them Quick Replies now (scheduled or unscheduled). They are in the same place as before:
Chose the message you want from list on left side. Click anywhere within the message to activate it and edit.
Thanks @Joan2709 I found that part but what I can't find is the existing messages that go to the guest that I created prior to this change. They still receive these messages but I cannot find a way to edit them now. When I click on any of these they are all blank and want me to start from scratch.
For example, the first option "checkout instructions" wants me to create a new checkout instructions as it is currently blank. I already have an existing checkout instruction that is multiple paragraphs long. I would prefer not to recreate all these over again when I just need to edit one word.
It looks like you are a Co Host? I don't think Co Hosts can access scheduled messages that the primary host/owner setup. The messages that are being sent are probably on the Primary Host/Owner's log-in and profile. Not sure why the one's you had setup under the Co Host profile aren't appearing?
You can edit any scheduled message that will be sent to a guest by going to the message thread with the guest and looking for the Review message at the end of the thread. The messages can be edited for that individual guest only, or you can edit the master template for all guests.
@Joan2709 You are a genius! You are correct, as a co-host I am not able to edit the messages from my account but if I get on my wife's host account I can click on the review like you have shown and edit the message that way. Thanks so much, that was baffling.
You should be able to edit a message using the guest message thread Quick Reply Review as a Co Host also.
The templates are housed on your wife's account, but you can edit them by either logging into her account, OR login under your Co Host account and access the Quick Reply by using the Review message in the guest message thread.
