Hey fellow hosts! In colder month, I’m curious to know how you keep your calendars filled during the quieter winter season. I know demand tends to dip after the holidays, so I’m looking for practical tips or strategies that actually work.
Do you adjust pricing, focus on mid-term stays, run special offers, or lean into corporate/contractor guests? Have any of you had success with themed packages or unique marketing angles during winter?
Would love to hear what’s worked (or hasn’t) for you let’s help each other stay booked through the slow season! 😊
Hi @Rehema5 😊,
Thank you so much for asking this question here, it's really interesting!
Where are you hosting from, and when is your quiet season?
I'm tagging a few hosts from to see what advice they can offer: @Helen3, @Mike-And-Jane0, @Tara0, @Dave-and-Deb0 and @Patricia2526.
Thank you in advance, everyone!
Warm regards 🌻,

As you know you can only do short term rentals in London for up to 90 days so I would suggest you focus on getting bookings during the peak summer season @Rehema5
the London market particularly for whole lettings is oversaturated so many London hosts are finding it tough to get bookings.
You have great photos but you haven't really given a proper description of the amenities or the rooms in your flat so your listing would benefit from a more detailed description
I'm not sure I'd describe SE14 as minutes from central London. Those not familiar with London may be disappointed when they find themselves in SE14 rather than in the Centre.
Hi @Rehema5
For me, I lower prices but also increase my monthly discount to get longer-term stays. I will also add to my title, "Winter Rates".
I hope this helps.

You hire a professional photographer to shoot great photos with great lighting. Work hard to make your listing standout and look at comparable listings to make sure your pricing is competitive. You can run special promotions to fill in areas of your calendar that have high vacancy.
