I wish to complain to airbnb about my experience of airbnb as a host

I had a message from airbnb saying a prospective guest wanted a discount of £1.50, I declined request, they had not messaged me so no message to reply to. Today I have a message from airbnb saying, macs request expired. If another request expires, up to one week of the requested dates will remain blocked on your calendar. I am furious, I have done nothing wrong, I responded to the request by declining and not approving, I only charge £39 per night, ridiculous to be asked to charge only £37.50, I have every right to decline, how do I get hold of someone at airbnb to have this sorted out. I cannot find a way to do this, since it is a text I have been sent that can’t be replied to, and is not a message thread on my airbnb messages, can anyone help me? If I’m going to be threatened like this when all I’ve done is tell someone I will not give a discount they are asking for, then I don’t think I want to be a host.

Airbnb has a very poor service when it comes to helping us, the hosts. Especially when cancellations happen. I have asked to cancel a reservation because of the extenuating circumstances.  Airbnb cancelled the reservation for me and told me to relax and sit back. Next morning Airbnb sent me a nasty email telling me that I discriminated a guest on basis of their nationality and country. How is that work? I am still speechless. I call Airbnb almost everyday to complaint this member of staff who sent me that rude email but no one is helping.

@Anonymous  Did you actually click on the "Decline" button, or did you just let the guest know that you wouldn't agree to the discount? (How totally absurd for anyone to bother asking for a discount in that amount) You must click on either Accept or Decline within 24 hours on a Booking Request. If it's an Inquiry message, you neither have to pre-approve or decline- as long as you respond to the Inquiry with a message within 24 hours, you won't be penalized. So never decline an Inquiry,as declines affect your stats. But if you can't get a guest to withdraw an inappropriate Request, you need to officially decline it before the 24 hours is up.
