I have a guest that booked 3 days ago and is meant to be arriving tomorrow for a 1 night stay.
Our cancellation policy is firm. This is their message;

Hope you are having lovely Saturday. I wanted to check if there is any possibility of cancelling the booking and get the refund? Reason is due to the unexpected poor weather and heavy rain. Please let me know if that would be okay.

The weather is rainy but nothing unusual for this time of year. Certainly not
dangerous to travel on and no road closures.
How would you respond nicely yet firmly? I am a people pleaser but don’t think it’s fair to give them a refund and myself be out of pocket.
