Long story short a guest checked out late. Check out is 10am. They left at noon. I have it documented/time stamped on camera. I asked air bnb to charge them $50. This was the support response. Does this make any sense?? So if the guest just doesn’t answer there is nothing that can be done? This is crazy.

We would like to inform you that we tried contacting your guest multiple time via calls, messages and emails and tried to share the concern so that we can request the guest to pay for the requested amount by you.
However, we didn't receive any response from your guest so that we can mediate and help you both accordingly with the future steps.
We tried our level best to get in contact with the guest and share the concern. Since the guest did not respond to any messages sent we won't be able to initiate a refund from their end as we will require her authorization.
However, we would like to request you if you can help us with some evidence of the guest checking out late so that we can document the detail and investigate your concern and check according to our policies to check if there's anything we can help you with.
