Hosting on Airbnb was a nightmare. Had younger guest rent our house for 6 people (our max) and had a ranging party for 31 people (Ring camera verified) until 3:00 am disturbing my neighbors. Lot's of alcohol and drugs. Trashed my house - and Airbnb DID NOTHING!! Air cover is a joke. All of you will get to experience this eventually. He is still on Airbnb with no consequences - and he knew it because he told me Airbnb won't do anything to him. He's still out there ready to book his next party at your place - good luck.
On Bookings.com I get ALL of the guests credit card info the day they book. I have complete control and I am allowed to set a minimum age to book - on Airbnb an 18 year old is allowed to book bet you didn't know that!
