Low Experience Guest Requests

We've been hosting two units in a quirky town for a little over 4 months.   We have excellent reviews for both units.  All past guests have been tourists and all very short term - 1 to 2 nights.  We are now getting flooded with booking requests from low experience guests - 1 to 2 reviews max.  Many have been on app for years.  Is this normal?  Our place is one of at least 50 in the area. We are at low end on pricing but high end on amenities.

My personal advice to you would be to increase your prices to attract a better type of guest! 

 

Allowing one night stays can also attract the wrong guest profil.  Are you on Instant Book?  Self check-in?

@Todd765 I think @Joelle43 gives good advice. When we hosted we didn't worry about zero experience guests and never had an issue - But were we just lucky???

If your listing is high-quality you can increase prices and only lower them for unsold nights.
