It appears that Airbnb only allows to integrate one smart lock. Our property has two smart locks, one to enter the house and one to enter the shop. It would be very beneficial to integrate more than one lock. Is there an option to do this that maybe I am overlooking.
I'm interested in this, too. Both of my properties have 2 entry doors. The entry doors are both on the front of the house, so there's a 50-50 chance a guest will want to enter through the door with the unlinked lock. (Even when I've tried to explain in detail which door their lock code works with!)
Automating only one of the locks defeats the purpose of automation if I have to manually duplicate the code for the second lock.
Either way, it's very confusing and inconvenient to have only one smart lock link with Airbnb.
I don't believe there is a way to integrate more than one smart lock with the Airbnb platform.
Hi @Sarah6224 👋
What a great question! It seems that you can't do this at the moment but it would be a great idea to share your feedback with Airbnb. Thanks @Joan2709 and @Michelle1605 for stopping by 😊
Just a thought: can you make the code for the shop the same as the one for the house as a temporary solution? I'm unsure if you can manually update the lock passcodes or if they are auto generated. 🤔
Thanks, Rebecca! The non-integrated lock can be manually updated, but having to do so pretty much negates any benefit of the other lock being integrated. If I have to go to an app to manually update one, I may as well update both of them (to the same code).
I think the integration is a great feature, great idea, but without being able to integrate 2 locks, it just doesn't save me any time or trouble. And it definitely is more confusing for the guests (if I don't take the extra time to find the random code Airbnb created for the integrated lock and add it manually to the 2nd lock). Oh well.
Thanks so much for getting back to me and I get that it would mean a bit more work. Perhaps this is something that you can share with Airbnb?
Wishing you all the best.
