Need phone number and email address for Visa

Hello team,

I have an airbnb booking in Paris for Dec'25.

I stay in the UK and need to apply for Schengen Visa. As part of the visa application, I need to provide host address, phone number and email address. But, I was told that the details can only be shared 2 days before the stay. However, I need this information now. Need help with this.

Thank you for sharing your situation. I'm tagging @Joelle43 to see if she knows anything else about these visas. Also, have you tried contacting the host? That might help speed up the process of getting their email and phone number.

Under your reservation number, you should be able to see Download or print your itinerary for Visa purposes:

However, I am not sure that all the information you require will be listed.  Why?  Hosts can choose not to disclose the address of the property until AFTER the free cancellation policy has passed which means that if the host has a free flexible cancellation policy in place (you can cancel up to 24 hours before check-in time) then you will have the address too late for your Visa purposes.

Some hosts are wary of guests who reserve stays just to get a Visa and then cancel free of charge once the information has been supplied.

What is the cancellation policy for your stay in Paris Vinay?  Check to see if you have the phone number for your host under your reservation number.  You'll need to look closely as it's not immediately apparent and appears in tiny numbers! 

Airbnb never disclose hosts email address as all our communication needs to done via the Airbnb message stream so if your host won't give you their email address, this is going to be a problem if you are certain that this it is an essential requirement to obtain your Visa?  Worth checking.

@Joelle43 I've only just seen your reply here, thank you for the detailed pointers!

Thanks @Joelle43  and Emilie for your messages. I now find that these 2 fields in France Visa application are mandatory. A couple of my friends have had their Visa rejected for not filing the application with complete detailed information.

Regarding the cancellation policy for my booking, I have plenty of time before I can cancel my booking. 

I'm aware of complaints regarding people booking  a BNB and cancelling them once their visas were approved. But, in my case, I would still need to provide sufficient evidence about our stay as we are looking for a Tourist Visa.

I'm afraid, if this is not provided, I may have to cancel my booking. That would be really sad.
