Network error (connection): NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.

Just did a random search and when i see an airbnb I click on it and then it gave me the error Network error (connection): NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.

So I tried more and more and more and still doing the same thing.

Why is that?

Was failing for me with this error when I used Firefox. Tried with Edge and no problems - I was able to complete the booking.

I choose not to use Google Chrome for privacy concerns and shouldn't have to switch to it because Airbnb is deciding to ignore an issue affecting a major browser and consequently many users

Hi @Eric6474, I totally understand. It was a suggestion as other members have tried it and been successful in getting past the error.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot? So that I can feed it back to the tech team for further advice?

Thank you for providing your device specifications in the comment above.

I have shared it more than once with them but they are not responsive. The first is from April and the second is from today, both on Firefox on MBP (OSX Monterey)

Thank you so much @Eric6474 ! I will pass your feedback to tech team and share the screenshots. Meanwhile, Can you try out the basic troubleshooting methods like :

  1. Log out from your browser.
  2. Close all browser windows/tabs on those devices/browsers.
  3. Open a new window on affected browser.
  4. Clear cache, cookies, and browser history on browser.
  5. Login with your Email that is associated with your account.

@Eric6474  I also don't use Chrome for the same reason, I tried logging in from Firefox in private browsing and it worked. Hope this helps in the meantime.

Hello @Eric6474

I use a Mac and do not have the same problems as you thankfully.  I upgraded to Ventura - was before on Monterey and I use Safari.

This should not be marked fixed.
