New generation of Airbnb guests

We have been hosts now for over 5 years, and probably more like 10. In the past our guests have been amazing - house has been well looked after, cleaned immaculately, one guest even bought new wine glasses after they broke one! But this year, three out of four rentals have been utter pigs. House not cleaned (and when I say not cleaned one guest couldn’t even flush the toilet), pet hair everywhere, bins not put out, stains on bedding - it’s been an absolute ‘mare. It feels like there is a new generation of users who either don’t care about reviews (yes I have given them all bad reviews) or just don’t give a $hit. Anyone else finding this? If so, we may well pull our listing as it’s no longer fun. Feels like being used and abused. Does anyone know what happens to the review status? I’m deliberately being honest so that other hosts don’t have the same issues.
