Notes in Calandar

When blocking dates in our property calandar we use to have an option to add a note to remind us of what we were blocking the dates for.  It seems with this new app that option is no longer available.  This requires us to keep another calandar separately for each listing which is highly problematic keeping track of yet another calandar.  I call Airbnb and they also could not instruct me as to how to add the comment to the blocked dates...and thought the function had been removed....not a good decision...p

lease add this back immediately.

In the meantime, you can turn on Professional Hosting Tools and use the multicalendar to add/edit notes as a workaround until it's fixed. All Hosts can use Professional Hosting Tools even if you only have one listing. The multicalendar is only available on a desktop though; can't use in the App:

Just realised the same! I use the calendar note function all of the time! Really hope that they haven’t permanently removed it.

Thank you for letting us know! It would also be great if we could have notes for non-blocked dates as well. Why aren’t we allowed to put whatever notes we want on whatever dates we want? Just a thought.

I totally agree 💯 percent! There is no reason not to allow Hosts to add notes to any date (blocked or open). 

In the mean time, to add a note using the regular calendar, just block the date and add your note. Then don't forget to unblock it!  This will allow Hosts who only use their phone and not a desktop to at least add a note on the regular calendar. Of course, you can still add notes to any date on the multicalendar that is only available on the desktop:

Thanks! I may be wrong though, as I tried this before, I think if we add a note (to a blocked date) and then unblock the date then the note disappears!

In the meantime I’ve been using my PC to add such notes which is irritating as it doesn’t fit in my pocket!
