Hello , I have a thin red line two dates on my calendar , would anyone know the meaning please. Searched help topics , but can not seem to find a reason.. Sincere Thanks
I see what you mean @Enrique1567
Mine are national public holidays - does that make sense where you are?
Thank You so much for your reply, Mine are on a Friday and Saturday , but no Public holidays on these day. Really Appreciate Your Reply. Have a Wonderful Day.
I have no idea then @Enrique1567
Did you by any chance make a private note for yourself on those days? That's the only other explanation I can think of.
@Enrique1567 I see your listing's location is shown as "United Kingdom". If you look at the circled dates in question, is there any possibility that holidays relevant to other parts of the UK, are perhaps showing up on your calendar?
Hi @Enrique1567 👋
Great question! A thin red line around certain dates on your Airbnb calendar usually indicates something flagged by the system. It might be:
Regional or national holidays, even if they’re not public holidays in your specific location. Sometimes Airbnb shows holidays from the broader UK region.
Private notes or custom blocks you may have added earlier—Airbnb often highlights these visually.
High-demand dates based on local events or booking trends that Airbnb tracks.
If none of these apply, try checking your calendar settings or reviewing any notes you may have added. You can also reach out to Airbnb support for a more precise explanation based on your listing.
Thanks to everyone who shared thoughts and helped out in this thread—really great teamwork here! 😊
I do see the red line around certain dates and found it indicates local events taking place ie Wimbledon, Queens club, etc. I am curious though how to see which events are taking place when there are more than one? Currently if more than 1 event, it
will tell you what event is taking place-however if there are 2 events, clicking on the date just says “includes 2 events”. I would love to see what those 2 events are but don’t see how? Is that possible?
I have this same exact question and can’t find the answer!!! I’m a host in Sydney
Hi @Amanda3214
Here's what comes up for me in the side panel when I click a date with a red circle - it shows the name of the public holiday:
