Package pickup

Hi Airbnb, I recently stayed at this airbnb for over a week. She was super nice to us while we there. While living there we had purchased a parcel to be delivered. It arrived super late. A week late. As of writing, it will arrive tomorrow. I am trying to pick it up. We asked our land lady and she freaked out. We had tried rescheduling to our new address, but it was too late. Is she being a crazy ** or am I the jerk. Also what’s the best solution to this?

You shouldn't arrange to have packages delivered when you're temporarily staying at an Airbnb. It would have been better if you'd arranged for it to be delivered at a local pick up point. And the host is correct any communication should be via the Airbnb platform.

 

Check with the delivery company to see what will happen when they are unable to deliver. 

I can understand why the host wouldn't want to accept a delivery for a guest who's no longer at the property @Henry805
