Pending response from host

I have reserved a property for tonight and the host still hasn't come back, I want to cancel this to rebook somewhere else as I am travelling with three children? What will happen to my payment if they haven't taken it out yet but have my payment details im worried I will lose this money?

@Lauren5007 Call Airbnb and ask them to cancel due to host unresponsiveness and refund/don't take the money. There may be a timing issue with getting the money back but at least you will get it back if Airbnb cancels for you.
