Question about a booking that didn't sync. We use guesty
Hi so I had an Airbnb guest book reservation *** but we have no availability for tonight as seen on my Guesty calendar. I just need to know if this is a sync issue as this is not a good guest experience and I wish to avoid a negative review for something that is not our fault. I'd appreciate if this can be looked into. Thank you
@Denise1200 Do I assume correctly that you are advertising on more platforms and using Guesty to synchronize between them? I would contact customer support at Guesty first. I also use a PMS and sometimes these programs have interfacing issues
You have 915 with Airbnb, so in all likelihood is your main booking agency; perhaps best not for the Airbnb calendar to follow the Guesty calendar, but the other way around, only.
I would manually bring up to date the calendar with the much fewer bookings as a general rule, to avoid these frequent syncing issues.
My recommendation is stop using Guesty and switch to a provider that actually works properly with airbnb's cal and special offers. Properties with the slash through them are getting better placement by the algo and Guesty's messaging services aren't worth the price. Airbnb in my area is the best listing site so part of the calculous from canceling Guesty for me was that I wasn't making enough from other listing sites to make Guesty's integration worthwhile. I use airdna's pricing feature which is way better than Guesty!!
