I recently hosted a group who left our cottage in a pretty bad state. They had also removed the top of the carbon monoxide detector, burnt oil in 2 frypans, left utensils on the hot frypans to melt and the place smelled of burnt oil.  I'd like to report them so other hosts don't have to deal with their fallout but I don't know how. Can anyone help? I don't want any compensation, i just think Airbnb should be aware. Thanks Adriana

Leave an honest review to help warn future hosts. Mark them down on their ratings. And mark that you wouldn't host again. @Adriana656 

Personally I would also call Airbnb to make it clear what happened and about the safety risk of disabling your carbon monoxide alarm.
