Reschedule second payment

Hello, 

Is there a way to reschedule the second payment, that is to postpone it with 5 days? I understand that the host doesn't manage the payments' scheduling and Airbnb answered that they cannot change it because everything is automatically resolved in their system.  I wouldn't want our reservation to be cancelled as our plain tickets are already purchased and non-refundable. Moreover, we've been keeping a great communication with our host.
Would it be a good idea to address to their central office?

In order to accurately answer this question, we would need to know the cancellation policy for the listing that you booked.  The payment system is in fact automated and when you choose the Payment Plan option, there is no way to change the date as it is based on the cancellation policy of the listing.  If your payment fails, you will be given 72 hours to make the payment.  Now depending on the cancellation policy, the drop-dead cancellation date will be different.  Do you know what the cancellation policy is for this listing?  If so, let me know and I can let you know how long you will have to pay the second payment before the reservation is canceled.

My cancellation policy is like this:

 

Cancel by July 17 at 3:00 PM and you'll get a Full refund: Get back 100% of what you paid.
 
 
Cancel by July 18 at 3:00 PM and you'll get a Partial refund: Get back every night but the first one. No refund of the first night or the service fee..
 
 
Cancel by July 24 at 3:00 PM and you'll get a Partial refund: Get back every night that remains 24 hours after you cancel. No refund of nights you spent or the service fee..
 
 
Cancel by July 26 at 10:00 AM and you'll get a No refund.
 

However, I am doing my best to have all the fund available at the set date, that is the 9th of July.
