Robotic vacuum cleaner

I'm looking for recommendations. Most of my research leads me to sponsored sites so I'd like some first hand input.

The vacuum would be used on tile and solely for long human hair and crumbs.

Any suggestions?

I personally use the iRobot in my home.  I have hardwood floors, and tile and pets.  It does  good job cleaning, but it is somewhat inefficient.  It has a random pattern, takes a long while and gets easily stuck.  I can start a cleaning from my phone (which is awesome) however, it's a gamble whether it will complete the job or get stuck somewhere. Also, keep in mind, it does not take the place of a thorough cleaning--may not be able to get all areas that a person vacuuming would clean.  I have thought about putting one in our rental also,  just not sure it would clean as well as I would need it to!   If you decide to use one I would recommend doing a few test runs to see where the problems areas appear!  Mine continually got stuck right under the edge of my cabinets!

Good Luck!

Roomba from iRobot is the best. The 985 series are smarter than the older models since it incorporates smart technology to not bounce around in a random pattern. I thoroughly like mine, just do remember to clean out its trash bin. Costco has a nice deal.

Cons are not getting sharp corners; getting stuck on rugs with long strings or anything similar, cords, and IT WILL NOT StOP IF IT ENCOUNTERS POOP.

It does not stop on a dead mouse either!

DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH!!!

My friend has a beautiful new home (she and her husband live in, not an Airbnb) and one night the cat must have brought in a small mouse as a gift. In the morning, there was squished mouse on their lovely new carpet and a tail hanging out of the robot vacuum cleaner!

I think you have already bought your desired vacuum cleaner during this time period.
Anyway, currently, I am using roomba 880 models it giving us good feedback even though I have two messi cats in my house and also a long hairy wife of mine.
From my experience, this model can easily clean the hair from the tile floor.

You may try this,

@George1376  Spam isn't allowed on this forum.

He asked for a robotic vacuum cleaner recommendation.
I just recommend him to what i know.
Anyway, Ok, so what I have to do now?

@George1376  You didn't just "recommend him to what I know". Your profile shows zero listings as a host, your Airbnb account shows that you just joined today, so it's quite obvious that you only posted to get people to click on that site.

You spammers seem to think everyone else is stupid. Never mind, your post will eventually get removed.

@Sarah977 please do and I apologize for my mistake.

Hi @Jim472 , I can honestly recommend the Neato brand.

I am on my 2nd version, and the 'new' one has already had 2 replacement batteries in it's hard life (I wear  them out, it is about 3 years old). It really does a better job than my "Rowenta" which is a great machine..

They are solid and clever. There is lots of internet stuff showing videos etc. and I easily find 'non brand' replacement parts (filters, batteries etc).

My tip with these things is that you "buy cheap - buy dear". I got what I paid for and will stay with the brand.
