Hello Airbnb Community,

My name is Wael, and I am very passionate about becoming an Airbnb host. Unfortunately, I currently don’t have the financial resources to get started with my own property. I truly believe in the value of Airbnb as a way to connect with travelers and provide great experiences.

I am reaching out to kindly ask if anyone knows of opportunities, partnerships, or support programs that can help someone like me begin this journey—whether it’s guidance, property-sharing arrangements, or any form of assistance.

I am committed, hardworking, and ready to learn. Any advice or help would mean a lot to me as I try to start this new chapter.

It's great to heat how passionate you are about becoming a host!

Have you reached out to your family, friends, acquaintances and through their networks to find any who might be hosts or be interested in hosting, to start learning from them and perhaps even help them as co-host? This could be an interesting way to take your first step into hosting 🙂

Once you are in a position to start hosting, we have a whole section of Host guides, that have been written by our experienced hosts here in the Community Center. Some that might support you get started are:

Thank you so much for your kind message and support — it really means a lot to me!

I haven’t yet found anyone in my personal network in Tunisia who is hosting, but I will definitely start reaching out more actively to family, friends, and others to see if there’s an opportunity to learn or help as a co-host. That’s a great idea, and I hadn’t thought of it before.

I’m very motivated to get started, and I’ll also take time to explore the Host Guides you mentioned to prepare myself as much as possible.

If you know of any local programs or people in Tunisia who support new hosts, I’d be very grateful for any connections or advice.
