Solution for revenge reviews

Solution for revenge reviews

Now turo which is very similar to airbnb has a new system, where the guests review is automatically removed if it is written after a damage request, wouldn't be cool to have the same on airbnb? What do you guys think?

I don't think reviews should be automatically removed if there are damages . A guest can accidentally caused damages and still have valid complaints ie amenities not working or cleaning not being done @Welcome-To-OC0

Why don't they extend the damage claim window to 16 days?  This gives host chance to wait and submit damage claim after review window is closed.  No chance for revenge review.

Even if they did you rightly have to submit a claim before the next guest checks in so that probably wouldn't help most hosts @Dave52

@Helen3 14 days after checkout for Aircover claim regardless of when next guest checks in. But it should be 16 days to allow review window to expire.  I see zero reason airbnb cannot do this.
