Hello I received an inquiry for a booking from Korea. When I was about to approve it the system alerted me to the fact that Korean travellers benefit from a special policy which allows them to cancel also last minute, risking only 50% of the price of the stay.
Has anybody had experience with this weird rule?

@Lorina14 It has been talked about for some years now. I thought it was Korean law that created it.
@Elena5007 I've not experienced it but some hosts have complained about it on here. At the end of the day it is just an additional risk with taking Korean guests but be warned - You cannot reject the reservation without breaching the anti-racism policies.
@Mike-And-Jane0 Thanks. Actually AirBnB specifically warned me that by refusing the booking because of th policy I would not be violating the racism policy . Anyway, I decided to give it a try, I did love Seoul. Will be reporting back!
When did the policy come about? We hosted a couple of Korean guests and didn’t get that note. Maybe it happened in the past months?
No idea... I just now received the information.
