Hello Superhosts,
I am facing this complete mess (and manipulation?) :
- Airbnb gives 1 year to use (hard-earned!) Superhost Bonus coupons
- I receive the coupon by email late evening of 6 Jan, 2025 (first day possible of use!)
- The email says the coupon is valid for 1 year, but expires already 1 Jan, 2026!
- In my account under Payments / Coupons, the expiry date is even earlier, i.e. 31 Dec, 2025!
Airbnb should extend the coupon to the ONLY logical and correct expiry date, which is, of course, 6 Jan, 2026.
Thanks and best regards from Copenhagen,
Jacob
@Jacob231 Oh dear - what a first world problem. Let me suggest a solution. Book a stay TODAY with a host in Ukraine (but do let them know you are not actually coming). Pick carefully and you will derive way more satisfaction than you would if you just got $100 of a real stay.
Hello Mike and Jane0, I don't understand if you are trying to help, being sarcastic, or something third. In any case, I have reported the comment to the moderator as misleading information.
Best regards, Jacob

Hi @Elisa, yes, they say all kind of irrational things unfortunately and belive everything is alright. But it is not. It is actually a general problem for all of us: to issue our hard-earned Superhost Bonus coupon 1 week earlier and send it out by email to us 1 week later, and still claim it is valid 1 year. If Airbnb needs 1 week to assess the Superhost status – fine with me – but then issue the coupon AFTERWARDS (logical!), and then send it out to us, with 1 full year validity. Thanks for taking up the case higher up in Airbnb. Thanks and happy better new year! Best, Jacob
