Unable to leave a review

48 hours after our departure, I am unable to leave a review for the home we stayed in.    The site asks/reminds me to review the home, but when I click to start the process.....the site says I'm logged in as (my email) and therefore can't review.    I am also unable to read the responses from the host in the message thread we had during the stay.   Airbnb was able to figure out why, and hopefully is working on it.   Does the host have the capability to lock me out from writing a review?   I say this because i did complain while there to host that things were dirty and not ready for us......he did send a manager over to resolve some of the issues.
