Unexpected approved booking

I have had an “approved” booking appear overnight. I did not approve this booking. It feels like a platform error or an unexpected result. I will not be at home at the time of this booking. I needed investigated and reversed or to know how to cancel it.

Are your booking settings in the Listings tab set to Instant Book or to Request to Book @Tony2324 ?

Before you cancel, keep in mind that host cancellation carries a fine, the dates remain blocked, it could potentially disqualify you from being a Superhost and it can potentially impact search rank.

Have a look at the Airbnb Help website which has FAQs around how the platform works. @Tony2324 

Turn off instant book so you aren't accepting bookings you can't honour.
