Unregistered guests and the law in florida

Fyi: Under Florida Statute 509.151, the crime of Defrauding an Innkeeper occurs when a person obtains food, lodging, or accommodations at any public food service establishment, hotel, motel, or temporary lodging establishment with the intent to defraud the operator out of the value of the food, lodging, or accommodations. The courts have expanded this to inclue attempted fraud. I had a guest one ** book for 1. In truth she had five guests she should have been paying for and one newborn. My rules were clearly stated. Failure to declare a guest upon making a reservation will result in immediate cancellation of said reservation and guest will be entitled to no refund whatsoever to guest. Undisclosed and unregistered guests are not allowed on the property at any time. If you attempt to bring them your reservation will be immediately dermed cancelled by you and you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind and may result in criminal charges being levied against you. So please dont try to cheat us. Accurately report the number abd ages of all guests. State or federal ids will be required of all guests including infants and to confirm their ages. We charge additional fees for additional guests regardless of age.

Airbnb allows infants free. The rest is fine.

Not necessarily.
