Upcoming weekend 20% off promotion to increase chance of booking

I just wanted to share that I’ve been booked the last three weekends. One was a holiday- labor day- at a premium price but the last 2 were last minute booking discounts.

I work part time and I live in the house Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night. If I’m not already booked for the upcoming weekend, on Wed I post a 20% discount for Wed, thur, fri, sat nights. I have a 2 night minimum. Some money is better than no money. It worked the last 2 weekends I got booked.

When you post a promotion your listing is highlighted at the top of the search with a discount slashed thru the regular price. If you haven’t tried this, you really need to do it!

Third week in a row-20% discount got us booked. This week was a big event so my base price was higher than normal. My base price is usually $149 per night and even with the discount, I still got $140 per night. We have a 2 night minimum.
