What recourse do I have if any?

I had a guest stay (first through Airbnb) that said he would kennel his dog at night and when not at residence. They left him out and torn a $1200 window treatment. Said he would pay for it and his dog had never done anything like this before. I gave him a quote and he said it was significantly more than expected. Do I have any recourse for this. Very new to Airbnb and not sure of ins and outs.
