collecting ID information for the check in.

Can I please check what other hosts are doing with regard to collecting this information which is required by law? It is such a time consuming effort firstly to obtain the information from guests which I ask for prior to arrival.  Then if they do not provide it, I leave a note when they check in to do it., If that fails I have to go to the property. Then once I have the information I upload it to the Guardia website, print off the papers and give them to the guests to sign so I have a hard copy.

Surely there has to be an online or digital way of guests doing this themselves? Partee seems to be only in Spanish (unhelpful for guests)?

Any streamlining advice would be most appreciated
