Hello all.
I have just begun hosting with Airbnb. I have had 5 stars - and then a 3 star. The 3 star complained about things that were evident before booking. I am pretty upset because I got a notice from airbnb that I might be put on the "naughty" list and they will suspend my listing. I think I might quit this!
Any suggestions?

Hello @Terri416
Unfortunately you will get some guests that are completely unreasonable. I've only had one in six years of hosting.
What sort of vetting questions do you ask your guests to ensure they are a good fit.
What issues did the guest complain of that weren't amenities mentioned in your listing.
The message you get from Airbnb is automatically sent when your ratings drop below a certain level. Try not to take it personally.
There is an awful host near where I live (actually a management company) she consistently gets 4 to 4.2% ratings on Airbnb and terrible reviews. Yet Airbnb do nothing and she continues to host.
@Terri416 if you don't have bookings it might be worth deleting your listing and starting again. Everyone gets the odd low review - it is just unfortunate that you haven't yet got a large number of good reviews to outweigh the 3 start review.
I can't see a listing associated with your profile - I would like to see the review and the listing to see if you could better circumvent future bad reviews.
