phone verification issue

Hello,
I'm asking for assistance related to a verification issue on my phone.
I will be travelling from Bulgaria to Israel for the first time abroad on my own in early June and decided to book a place to sleep through Airbnb because I had heard some good reviews, but am quite disappointed. I've been trying to verify my phone number for two days now, but it won't send me the 4 digit code (I'm 100% convinced it's my phone correctly entered). I tried several times with no success and finally had to wait 24 hours. I waited, but it was still the same! I tried with my dad's phone number but it didn't work there either! I emailed with a support who didn't do anything for me!!! I got to the point that I deleted my account and made a new one, but again the problem was not solved even so.
I would be wholeheartedly grateful if someone could help me because I am already extremely worried
