Hello I have a guest already checked in. We realized the wrong tax amount was applied upon arrival. I made appropriate adjustments to the tax fee for the listing. Can anyone advise me on how to refund a guest the over charged amount once they are already checked in?
@Sun1469 Airbnb has a feature for hosts to send or request money from guests. This is typically used for things like extra services, but it can also be used to issue refunds. Choose to send money to the guest. Enter the amount that was overcharged. Be sure to clearly describe the reason for this payment in the notes (e.g., "Refund for overcharged tax amount"). If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, you can contact Airbnb's customer support for help. Hope this helps!
