From the first day we arrived at the apartment we had "surprises" . We didn't have light in the apartment, only in the bathroom it was. All the lamps were burned. The brother came to get the lamps, said that now he can't bring me another lamps, because it's late and that he will do it the next day. He said in the dark "it's more romantic" with an 8-month-old baby. The next evening I contacted Lucy to bring me the lamps, to which she says "I've already been in the house and put new lamps". Lucy came into the house while we were away. Know that they enter the house while you're not home. It wasn't until the next evening that I got to know this “nice” apartment and it's very old and very dirty. The bathroom is a mess, I'm not kidding, it smelled like a lot of pee. The toilet brush was dirty with **bleep**. It's not a joke. There was a glass in the bathroom where the toothpaste was put, it was filled with mold. In the shower tub, the water doesn't drain. The kitchen: a lot of crockery, plates, spoons, forks, pans and others were dirty, i.e. they were not washed after food. I found cockroaches in the kitchen. The bedding in the bedroom had a strange smell, as if the house had not been inhabited for a long time. Last night I discovered the broken couch, which means it had a big hole in it. I've had the worst 4 nights of my life. They literally ruined my vacation. I'm a person who likes cleanliness, so I don't recommend this apartment at all, it's a total disaster. I never thought I'd write a bad review of someone, but what I've lived in this apartment can't be described in words.

First of all I would like to clarify that Airbnb has deemed it appropriate to pay compensation for the damage caused by breaking the sofa.
Before to be an HOST I have been an Airbnb guest.
During my trips, if I had a situation as Irina described, broken sofa, apartment not suitable for cleaning standards, I would have contacted the host and the customer service for assistance.
In this specific case, none of this has happened.
Since I became an host and then with time and hard work, a SUPERHOST, my goal has been to satisfy the expectation of the guest, giving my daily 100% keeping in touch with them, to know how is going on their stay.
Irina did not give me this opportunity by avoiding all forms of communication.
I have always tried to put the guest in a position to feel him like at home. Often, indeed very often with success, like my previosly review can prove.
Unfortunately this time it seems that it didn’t go on that way.
