Hello, I am planning to start hosting in my newly refurbished home. I will be buying a new TV and sound system. Does anyone have advice on what to install? (I am UK based, this is an 850sq foot loft apartment in central London).
Currently considering an Amazon TV and Echo solution but I guess I’d need a separate account so that people can’t order stuff on my Prime? Any other advice on brands which integrate would be welcome!

Hi @Annette1084
I just did a Google search for 'what TV is best for Airbnb rentals.' I found many good tips and guides. Maybe it can help you move forward?

If your not expecting Guests to spend a lot of time watching tv, for my Guests all I supply is a Smart TV and good wi-fi. Nowadays most people have some streaming method so I don't provide
Consider a Smart TV that guests can use with excellent Wi-Fi.
Good luck!!!
I second this. A Sony smart TV (with built in android and airplay) with excellent Wi-Fi and without PWM would be how I would go about things as well.
A sound system / soundbar is honestly optional. I have a soundbar with my TV, but I rarely use it myself just to keep the overall noise profile lower.
I wouldn't add a sound system / soundbar to a TV in an Airbnb Rental, unless it's in a secluded area.
