I manage 35+ listings and run into the same friction every day in the Airbnb tools. This is not a one-off bug, it is a product gap that makes operations harder for any host with multiple properties.
There are two specific issues:
1) Listing name in Messages and reservations is not clickable:
On both mobile and desktop, when I am in a guest conversation or looking at a reservation, I can see the property name, but I cannot click it to open the listing page.
That means any time a guest reports an issue, I have to leave Messages and manually track down the correct listing just to see photos, layout, and details and confirm which property they are in. With many similar listings, this slows down response time and increases the risk of confusion.
2) No internal-name search in the Listings tab on mobile
On the mobile app, the Calendar tab allows search by internal name.
BUT the Listings tab does not. It only searches the public listing title.
For hosts with many properties, internal names are how we keep things organized. The fact that Calendar can already use internal names shows the data is there, it is just not exposed consistently across the app.
Requested changes:
1) Make the property / listing name in Messages and reservation details clickable so it opens the listing page directly.
2) Allow searching by internal listing name anywhere listings are searchable in the mobile app, especially on the Listings tab.
These two changes would significantly improve the workflow for hosts managing multiple listings and would not affect the guest experience.
If there are any Community Managers or Airbnb product team members who handle host tools or messaging, please feel free to share or escalate this to them. I’d really appreciate it and I think this could help a lot of people.
