How do you wash your bedding sets?

세탁소 등에 문의 하니 개별 비용이 만만치 않아 보여서요. 다들 침구류 세탁을 어떻개 하시나 궁금해요

I asked the laundry shop and they said the individual cost is not cheap. I am curious about how everyone washes their bedding.

Hello @Boram11

I do all the washing and ironing myself.  Less expensive and am pretty certain of good results😉

Hi joelle! I also wash my bed linen at home, it's the cheapest and most profitable way for the business!

I’ve hired a cleaning company that cleans the unit after a renter leaves and they also wash all the towels and linens. I have noticed that many of my towels or linens go missing or are mixed up with other customers if the cleaning company.  I’ve labeled my items in hopes that it doesn’t happen often

Our cleaners usually swap them out with a new set of sheets that they have and then they take them and usually have them commercially clean as they do more that one place.  So they get a bundled rate.  Which is cheaper for them to do.

I have a water dryer in the rental unit but just change everything out, all the bedding, including sheets, bedspread, mattress and pillow protectors between each guest. Also towels. So have two sets in rotation, and just change them out, and wash everything in my washer dryer.

When I first started I would wash everything between guest, using two separate front loading washer dryers, and still took almost four hours, although had a pull out bed also.

I have compared  the laundry cost and found that sending the laundry to a professional laundry is marginally more expensive than doing it at home. the laundry comes back starched and pressed to perfection and I am not frazzled..

For me, Coton sheets are really boring to iron and by sending to a laundry I am helping a local business.
