Hi everyone,
We are happy to introduce a brand new board here on the Airbnb Community Center, the Professional Hosting Tools board! This will be a place where we share product updates for Airbnb’s professional host tools, or Pro-tools.
To find this board visit the ‘All Discussions Rooms’ area of the Community Center, from either the Homepage or by hovering over your name in the top right corner.
Many hosts already use Pro-tools to help manage their listing, not just Pro-hosts. You can find out more about using them and opting in (or out) in this Airbnb Help Center article: How can I use professional hosting tools.
This board will be updated monthly with what is called a ‘Changelog’ from the product team. This log, as the name implies, lists any significant changes to Pro-tools that hosts may be interested in. We also encourage you all to share your feedback on what you like, or would like to see improved, so we may feed it back to the product team.
This is the first specific product board we have launched in the Community Center and so we would love to hear your thoughts on the board itself.
What are your thoughts on this new board? Do you think this is a good way to receive product updates?
Thanks,
Katie
Hey @Emiel1, hope you're well 😊
You should be able to comment on the individual posts on that board, but we want to keep the feedback centred around the updates that are being shared, so members cannot create a new topic there. I hope that helps to explain?
OK, thank you for explaining.
So it means " We also encourage you all to share your feedback on what you like, or would like to see improved" is limited to replies on excisting topics.
@Emiel1 no probs 😊 Yes, so the aim of the updates is to share what is changing and to get feedback on this. We are going to include a bit more guidance in each of the changelogs so that this is clear too.
If there is something you would like to see improved that is relevant to the OP then you can of course share it as a comment, but if you would like to give feedback in more general terms then the Hosting board is usually the best bet.
