Hi @Rebecca - well majorly improvements and most importantly..what else can I do to make my listing in top 10 ...๐
That's great @Vivek143 ๐ I love the balcony view from your listing. Ii can just imagine having a nice coffee there!
We've got some fab experienced hosts here who may be able to give you some support and advice: @Deena61, @Saba222, @Helen471 and @Rizooto0 - I wondered if you had a moment to look at Vivek's listing and share some of your experience and advice? ๐
@Vivek143 First would be add the little things that you feel are missing at home to add that to your airbnb. Second, if you have the right resources, please make the kitchen fully functional. Third, invest in good mattress and linens. From the designing perspective, Pinterest would be a great place to look at. Keep colours that naturally calm a person. Also, utmost priority should be given to cleanliness! Everyday cleaning, whether or not occupied, to be done. So invest in resources who can keep the house clean. Always speak to the guests over the phone and keep on checkin on them.
Thanks @Caelvie0 for the wonderful suggestion and feedback. I will try to accomodate it and reach out to you directly if I face any challenges.๐
Yes suree, most welcome ๐
Hello @Vivek143 ,
Youโre obviously a super host and the system indicates highly sought - so wow, congrats!
I think your place looks great; it looks curated, clean, and has all the essentials. Something that works for us - We go in and out of our space and try to โhang outโ a few times. Then we notice things - โhmmm, this blanket really isnโt that softโ, โthereโs no garbage receptacle here next to the coffee makerโ, or โwouldnโt it be cool if we offered some binoculars on this tableโฝโ.
Weโve followed all of Airbnbโs guidance already and make sure our spaces offer the best of mattresses, bedding, and towels. We always have extra everything too - blankets, pillows, towels, and even some spare toiletries people might forget.
So I guess my best advice is hang out in your space and think of the things that youโd want there whether bathing, sleeping or relaxing. And donโt be afraid to dream and set goals for future costlier improvements.
Have Fun!
Hi @Vivek143 :
In reading your reviews, I think you've already conquered what I feel is the most important aspect of any hosted rental - communication with your guests. Unfortunately, that aspect only tends to occur just 'after' they've already found your listing and also during the length of their stay with you. In order to gain further visibility with the 'shopping' guest, I'd suggest more personalization in the staging and the description of the space.
I agree with many of the prior forum comments about your photos of the views (beautiful) and the functionality of the kitchen. The photos of the other areas within your studio along with your additional listing comments about utilizing the space, demonstrate to me that you have a more contemporary design style (with a minimalistic approach in the decor). I also believe that your potential focus may be toward the business traveler, but those travelling for pleasure may also seek business-forward accommodations in the future as well.
My suggestion would be for you to review your listing as if you were that traveler and imagine what 'you' would want in a stay such as the fully functional kitchen mentioned above (might include a coffee bar with k-cups & tea assortments at no additional charge). A few decor suggestions would be for small accent pieces such as limited artwork focused on the locale, place settings on table to demonstrate the potential for a romantic meal, and additional comforters/blankets hung over chairs/bed to show 'coziness'.
Regarding the property description, you've done a great job sharing alot of vital and interesting information and your site ratings have gotten the prospective traveler to your site page. Most of these travelers are looking for the overall 'experience' of the stay (not just the availability and functionality of the space itself). Your current description does help to let them know the area and other house rules, but it doesn't have quite enough personalization in the messaging to gain their interest (and trust). I'd recommend re-writing the first few paragraphs as if you were writing a note directly to them, and that you consider including a word or phrase that catches their eye when scrolling through available listings (e.g. 'Relaxing', 'Vibrant', etc.).
Hope this helps and I'm always available to you (would love to know more about international histing from you). Take care and all my best, Bob
Thanks @Bob1728 @ for the wonderful suggestion and feedback. I will try to accomodate it and reach out to you directly if anything else is required.

Hi @Vivek143 . In my space I put things in there that I want when I travel. I supply a bottle of wine, bagels, cream cheese, eggs, pancake mix for every booking. Plenty of coffee, creamer, honey, sugar etc. my suggestion is spend a few extra $$ and guests will return. A big draw for my place is it only 20 minutes from a large ski resort and I allow one pet. I charge a bit more than an average stay in my area as Iโm in the country but Iโm booking out now and months down the road. I hope this helps. Your place is beautiful.
Clear check-in instructions and quick responses make a big difference in the guest experience.
Hello @Vivek143
A few things that have really helped my listing stand out:
โข Warm & thoughtful welcome โ I always add small touches like local snacks or a handwritten note.
โข Clear and aesthetic design โ Clean, cozy space with good lighting makes a big difference.
โข Local experience tips โ Inside the studio, I provide two custom-made cards with my personal recommendations, including restaurants, beautiful beaches, must-see spots, and helpful local tips.
โข Attention to details โ Quality linens, nice scent, and overall comfort.
I think itโs all about making guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and connected to the destination.
