I just started hosting and our season is almost here. I am looking for any advice on my listing that may make it more attractive. Do I have too much information? Not enough? Anything would be helpful. The unit is located in Garden City Beach, SC. I have added a link to the listing. Hope I did it right! LOL

Buongiorno @Deb5175 ,
I took a quick look at your listing and it seems to me that you could improve your photos, here are some tips on how to best photograph your home:
hope it helps
Andrea
P.S. you posted a link to the wishlist not the link of your listing 🤔
Thank you Andrea. We fixed the link and I am going to update my photos. My first review (and only review) mentioned that the place was "even nicer than the pictures".
Thank you. I have a photographer meeting me on Tuesday to do pictures. 🙂
Hello @Deb5175 👋
Congratulations on your listing and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's wonderful to have you here with us.
I hope you don't mind, I added a photo and updated the link to your listing on your post - as @Andrea6232 said (thank you!), you had shared your wishlist!
I'm hoping that with easier access, more hosts will pop by and support you with constructive and helpful feedback. I'd also like to tag some experienced hosts who may be able to pop by and share their feedback - @Rose422, @Nash-Cottages-LLC0 and @Angela3583. - what do you think to this brand new listing from @Deb5175?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for updating and putting in the proper link. 🙂 I will figure out Airbnb soon... I hope. lol And that would be great if you shared the listing with any and all experienced hosts. I appreciate it.
Deb
@Rebecca Thanks for the tag.
@Deb5175 Hi there and welcome to the community!
I can't wait to see the photos that the photographer takes and you are able to post. Your place looks lovely. I would suggest that you change out the first photo to a beach or that sun over the balcony as your first photo to gather a bit more clicks. You can easily move the photos around.
I'd also suggest responding to the first review. When you do, it will be public to any other potential guest.
Information seems good to me and th link worked so whatever you did to fix it worked!
Looking forward to seeing your updates.
Judy
Lovely spot
I did respond to the great review that was left. I wonder why it didn't post. I will check that out tomorrow and I will repost with new photos as soon as we can coordinate with the photographer. 🙂
Great spot with the review response @Nash-Cottages-LLC0 - I wasn't able to see it either.
Did you manage to get a reply done to that glowing review @Deb5175? Congratulations on such a beautiful review. You've worked hard for it! ⭐
I replied to the great review. Not sure why Airbnb didn't put it up. That was on my "to do" list today and for the life of me, I couldn't remember what I had to call them about until; just now. LOL
Haha, you're welcome for the reminder @Deb5175 - let us know how you get on. It's always great to understand if these things are a bug or if there was another reason behind it!
You have a price point and a schedule rule that I think the presentation needs a bit more.
Guests see many properties where the Hosts utilize all the pages the platform provides a listing so it is noticeable you haven't and I think you should reconsider that decision.
Six guests and eating and sleeping is well presented. The living room and balcony pictures didn't easily show me comfort and enjoyment.
The layout picture I love gave me a good visual of size, very big.
I have a photographer coming in next week to take better pictures. These were my feeble attempt... LOL The living room and balcony are first on his list of "needs better photos". You have a good eye. I want to keep it easy to clean as for now as I do it myself. My own house is a collective area of mixed fabrics, pillows and colors. So it was hard for me to rein it in for this unit. Now I am thinking it needs just a bit of "me" in here. I will update the listing as soon as it's done for a second opinion. Thank you for your input.
