I just listed my 2nd listing as a superhost and I am not getting bookings

Hi Community,

I just went live with my second listing on my account as a superhost and for some reason I am not yet getting bookings. Its been a week and a few days since I launched. Here is my link: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1615773667073994956?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=d1d98a2e-183...

Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Hi @Gloria1327 😊

Thank you for asking for a critique of your listing here!

Is your second listing in the same city as the first one?

I’m tagging a few hosts to see if they can give you some advice: @Jacquelynn8@Linda4964@New-Bern-Vacation-Rentals0@Gloria53@Kim4581 and @Jeanna27.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Gloria1327 - Your place is really cute.  I am not sure how much competition you have in the area, but that might be one of the challenges.  You might want to add a little more to your description, something like being relaxing, and grabbing a book at the end of the day, or being out to dinner, etc.  Also, your very first photo in the bathroom has the toilet seat up.  You may want to retake that one with it being down.  I know it's minor, but just more welcoming having it down.  Anyways, it's really cute and you have a lot to offer, so I sure hope you get some bookings soon!

Thank you @Jeanna27 . It is quite competitive actually. Okay thanks for the tips, I will definitely add more in the description and yes definitely change that bathroom photo..

Thanks Elisha, appreciate it.

This is my second listing in the same city as the first one, about 10 minutes away.

@Gloria1327 Your place looks great. You probably just need to lower the price until you get some positive reviews, and then once the algorithm is in your favor you can raise it again. People aren't willing to spend as much on a place that hasn't been reviewed before.

Thanks John. Okay I will adjust my prices 🙂
