Hi there, apologies if this has been asked before. I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer.
When using a desktop browser, where do I find a list of all bookings, including cancellations?
Thank you.
Ack, it's okay, I just found it here:
https://www.airbnb.co.uk/hosting/reservations/canceled
I would love to know what it is in the US. I tried your address and changed the uk to us and couldn't get a bite.
Does anyone know the link for cancellations in the U.S.? I've been searching the site and community help and cannot locate it.
Choose from main menu "list of reservations", then choose tab "cancelled"
Direct link for US is probably:
Our problem is slightly different - we know where to find the list of all the bookings and cancellations (all the correspondence with every guest is stored in the ‘archive’ on the app and you can also find it on the website on your dashboard) but it seems Airbnb has not only issued new invoices (for the total amount of $0) after the bookings were cancelled, no, for whatever reason they’ve changed the $ amounts in the original invoices to 0. What the?!? Who does something like that and why?!?
Now we have no way to know how much the cancellations are worth in $ terms.
I suppose we can contact Airbnb and ask them for the number, hope that they have it and that they will share it with us.
Check back over your confirmation booking emails. The data is all there.
@Ian-And-Anne-Marie0 swell, the thing is I didn’t keep those. Having all the correspondence on the app and on my dashboard and trying to keep the number of emails stored on my machine under control I thought, do we really need everything in triplicate? Silly me, it turns out we do. I mean - who changes already issued invoices Effectively erasing the paper trail of a transaction? Why would you do that?
I'll take a guess... Maybe Airbnb want to make it as difficult as possible for you to obtain evidence of the cancellations they have forced upon you?
Other than that I cannot think of any other viable reason.
@Christopher-and-Elisa0 "who changes already issued invoices Effectively erasing the paper trail of a transaction? Why would you do that?"
A company that wants to cheat you out of what you are due, that's who and why.
Everybody should be screenshotting and saving absolutely everything right now. Go through every booking, harvest all the information, save your guests' phone numbers, make particular note of the booking amounts, because they will be zeroed when your guests cancel. Save all emails from Airbnb. Record calls with CX. And always screenshot your message threads with Airbnb Support - they have an unfortunate tendency to disappear.
Where possible, ask your guests how much they're being refunded, and by what method. In the event of your guest experiencing any issues, ask them to send you the screenshots of what they're seeing on their side.
And stay alert. Way too many anomalies, discrepancies and inconsistencies going on with both COVID/EC and NON-COVID/EC refunds, way too much chaos and confusion, way too many users (hosts and guests) not receiving what they should be receiving,
The more information you retain now, the more evidence you will have to fight your own corner, should a dispute arise Because you can be d*mn sure that Airbnb are doing their level best to make sure you are powerless to defend yourself, if needs be.
