Is this listing legit? Seems too good to be true for the price. New host, 1 review. https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/1068719870094...

Dear Community,
I have a notification showing on my Airbnb app but no pending requests or messages at all. I've looked extensively, anyone have any ideas how to clear this as it may prevent me from replying to an actually request in a timely manner. I have redownload the app, turned notifications on and off. No notifications appear on the dashboard of the website.

Logging out of my account on the app, and then logging back in seemed to do the trick for me. You can find the Logout button under the Settings.
Okay, so you want some peace and quiet, huh? No problem! Just head to your Settings app, then tap on Notifications. From there, you can either turn off notifications for specific apps or go all out and turn off the big "Allow Notifications" switch at the top. Boom! No more pesky pings and dings.
If you want a quick break from everything, try turning on Do Not Disturb. It's like a little vacation for your phone. You can schedule it or just turn it on whenever you need a breather.
Remember, you can always turn notifications back on later if you miss the chaos. Sometimes, a little silence can be a good thing!

Just managed to resolve this so for anyone still having the issue:
1. Log out / Log in. If this doesn’t work
2. Delete the App and re-install. If this doesn’t work
3. Check Inbox notifications (bell icon in Inbox), and if that doesn’t work
4. Desktop version, Inbox, Unread messages.
“4” finally worked for me, there was a message that had actually been read on my phone but was showing as not read on my desktop interface
I am having this same problem, have tried all 4 of your suggestions, and still cannot eliminate the bogus notification. In the desktop version it does seem to indicate that there is an unread message from the menu. But when I go messages, there are no unread ones.
I searched on every forum on internet and eventually end up fixing this by removing Red Notification Numbers on iPhone Apps. Those pesky red badges can be easily removed!
Here's how:-
That's it! The red badge will disappear from the app's icon.

Removing red notification number from apps on iPhone
Happening to me for last two weeks and I have done all of the above and it is still there and I get the Network error message?
Hi Paula
try to clean all the history, and after that turn off the iPhone, and again on
This did not fix it for me
Logging in and out didn’t help me
Ditto. Logged out and back in but the notification is still there.
Same here, still have a message notification badge after logging out and reinstalling the app several times.
What you have to do is ignore that the red dot is on your profile tab. You'll have to go to your notifications. Youll find that by clicking "inbox" (to the left of profile on the app). From there youll see a bell logo on the top. Select that and open those messages one by one and the notification will go away! Hope that helps
You are a genius!!!!!!!! This has been annoying me for weeks but that fixed it!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you!!
Also having the same issue... when i click on the app it shows that there’s a notification on my profile page but i’ve opened up every menu within my profile and nothing will make it go away. Super frustrating!
Go to inbox then notifications (bell at top right) and clear the notification. That should help.
