Hello all
Apologies if this is something I should already know - but I don't!
I have two listings - can I combine the calendars for the two listings so that I can see both on the same page? This would be such a help with managing the changeover days, (of which there are now many as we have reduced the 'minimum stay').
Would it be better for me to have a listing that contains my two current listings within it so that I can link the related calendars in the 'Calendars Sync' section on the platform? If so, how do I do this? This would have the additional benefit of enabling searchers to see the other listing when one is not available.
I do know that using the URL for each calendar in the 'import/export' tool does not work, and neither does adding the listings custom links to each other - (Airbnb do not permit inclusion of even their own URL's in a listing).
Best wishes and many thanks
Edmund
@Edmund99 go into your account (not the listing) and switch on professional tools. This will give a you calendar that shows both listings.
What are you trying to achieve by linking the calendars and we can then advise you better?
Thank you @Mike-And-Jane0 - I already have Professional Tools active but do not know how to to create one calendar that shows both listings on the same page?
What would success look like?
1. - able to see the bookings for both listings on the same page (screen). At present I need to load two calendars and toggle between them to see when change overs have to be done. I currently use a paper calendar to collate the bookings so that I can see how best to manage our availability to do change overs.
2. - Ideally my listing would show both accommodations under the same search so that folks can consider both and see availability for both in one search result - currently folks turn with no knowledge that there is a choice of accommodation.
Thank you
Edmund

@Edmund99 I don't think you can have pro tools activated. As soon as you do there should be one calendar showing both listings. So I am confused.......
Good morning @Mike-And-Jane0
One down.....
"...one calendar showing both listings"....called Multicalendar!!! https://www.airbnb.com/multicalendar
I've been using only the listing calendars for over 7 years....every day's a school day....
Thank you for the signpost!
Can you fix #2 (both listings appear in one search) for me as well?
Edmund
@Edmund99 Aagh - That's a bit harder. You do have some options though
1) I think both properties are on the same site? Even if they are not you could create a 2 bedroom listing (I think the existing are 1 bed listings) that incorporates both properties and advertise is for 4 adults.Just make clear it is two separate properties but that will attract a different market. Just be clear in the description and then say it is unsuitable for children of any age. Also link the calendars (in the right way) to stop double bookings.
2) In the section 'about the space' I think you can add a URL so could refer and signpost the other listing when talking about the first.
3) Do both options 1 and 2 above!
Glad to see you have entered the world of multi calendars......Rather good isn't it!
Thanks again @Mike-And-Jane0
2) In the section 'about the space' I think you can add a URL so could refer and signpost the other listing when talking about the first.
- no URL's permitted (even to another Airbnb page) in 'About the Space'.
1) [.....]could create a 2 bedroom listing[.....]
- the properties are for couples and are separate in every way but it would be great if potential guests could see both options....
I have seen other listings that are linked under one main listing - @Island-Escape1 might be able to help?
Thank you
@Edmund99 you could say, somewhere in your description, 'click on my profile picture to see our alternative listing'
