Maximum amount of guests eliminating search

Looking for some advice.  Our home sleeps up to 15 people, however we have our maximum amount of guests set at 12 because we found out the hard way - guests lie.  That being said, our home does not show up in a search unless somebody has a minimum of 10 guests in their search criteria. Even though our home is a great option for 4-8 people, our home does not appear in the search at all if somebody is only searching for accommodations for  that size.  Not sure what to do other than change the number of total guests we sleep every week to try to open it up?

I know other hosts have discussions with their larger properties using electronic bedroom kocks and doing like a 2 bedroom listing and a 3 bedroom. I  would Search for that topic so you can see how they offered the same house but different listing because count is different

This is intriguing. I didn't see anything match when I searched but I'll take a look again!

Dear @Angela4161

To address this issue, I belive you already consider adjusting your listing's guest capacity to reflect the range of guests your home can accommodate.

Additionally, updating your listing description to highlight flexibility and emphasizing that the home is ideal for various group sizes may attract more potential guests.

You might also want to contact Airbnb support to report this issue and seek their assistance. They could provide additional options or adjustments to improve your home's visibility for different group sizes.

Best regards,
