New update not working

I installed the most recent update to my phone and my Airbnb app is not working.  I get "retry" on most all my options, messages, listing, etc.

 

I have an android.  How to I fix this ASAP? I'm having to go in via my laptop to see or do anything.  My app tells me I don't even have a listing.

 

HELP!

 I have the solution @Patricia2526 .

 

In the Where box type in your destination. 

 

Then add your dates.

 

Then add number of people.

 

Then click back in the where box.

 

Then click on the Search button located bottom right of screen.

 

You then can get your results.

Hi @Michael9959 

 

Try force stop and restart the app.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Airbnb
  2. Tap Force Stop
  3. Reopen the app and check if it’s working.

Or reinstall the App

  1. Uninstall Airbnb from your phone.
  2. Reboot your phone.
  3. Reinstall the latest version from the Google Play Store.


If all else fails: use Airbnb web app on mobile

 

  • Go to www.airbnb.com via your mobile browser and log in – you can access almost all features that way.

 

I have the same problem I type in where would like to go but then unable to click buttons once I've clicked on dates. Can't click on NEXT.. I've uninstalled reinstalled no updates required. Frustrating!

Did you find a fix for this? Having the exact same issue.

No reply from airbnb so i deleted the app, reloaded it and logged in. Declined the update on the app. No it works fine.

I have the same problem... 

Reinstalling does not work...

Same here. The 'NEXT' button is not working after putting in destinations/dates. Tried reinstalling, buttons still not working.

Same issue here. Updated the app, forced stop the app, and reinstalled the app. Nothing worked. 🥺

Hi Bhumika, no I can see the details on the app, I can see previously viewed properties. I can do change dates on already viewed properties.

 

But I cannot click Next to submit new dates for existing searches nor new searches.

You can only add number of people after first clicking on the where box. The rest is correct.

Hi Bhumika,

 

No luck for me unfortunately. 🥺 After adding the number of people, I still cannot press Search on the summary page nor the Next button on the calendar. 

 

Any other suggestion please?

In the meantime, have you tried using the website on a browser while we try to solve this one?

Hi @Bhumika

 

Not sure if the video will show much, as the screen recording doesn't register any press but I did try pressing Select & Next but there is no response. 

 

I tried uninstalled and reinstalled the app again today, and still no change. 

 

My phone is Sony Xperia 1V.
