HI everyone,
I dont know if everyone is doing less travel this year due to inflation issue in Australia. This year i have received no booking from Airbnb since mid of Nov 23. Last year this time was heavily booked and completely opposite this year.
I have reduced a night rate under $150 and still with low viewing rate. In order to keep the cash flow on in Dec, i have to temporaily lease to students on monthly basis at this moment.
Do everyone having the same issue?
I have checked my listing and still up, so it is very strange....
I may possibly switch back to long term rental if this remains very quiet...otherwise i cannot keep up with the bank payment.
Any idea?
@Ka22 Try seeing if your listing is coming up in searches. Many hosts are finding that since the Winter Release Program that their listings are not showing up in searches. I have been having this as ongoing issue since October.
I have had the same issue, haven't had a booking in maybe a couple of months, but attributed it to no one travelling in December. I expected it to be slow, and well, it is. But seeing @Danlee1 's post, I am now wondering if I'm in the same boat.
I do see my listing but have also had to change it to "a room" because of Toronto's ridiculous rules.
Search outside of your account, clear your search history, and test different filters. There have been issues with Instant Book too. I can see how having to list as a room instead of a home could affect listings too. You can look at the number of views you have had too and see if that has dropped.
