Were you asked to verify with a code and filming your place in person to verify your place before posting it ? 
I find it very difficult to do when you live in an other country 

is this common practice?

@Alyosha-Arlette0 I kone Ukrainian hosts were asked to do this. I suspect it may be required when a host is not in the same country as the listing. I winder if a co-host could do it for you.
