Please Critique my listing in Ridge Field, Wa

I'm just getting started.  It appears as though my listing is duplicated??  Also I need to know how to block out days on the calander.

Thanks for your help.

@Guy962 it does look like you duplicated your listing. Keep the one with the title that says River View and Trails, and delete the other one. The one you're keeping already has one review.

Your place looks SUPER nice! You do need to do a few things with your listing. First of all, there's nothing in the description. You use that space to describe your property. Include some info about the house, how the rooms are laid out, how your kitchen is equipped, etc. Don't go into mega-detail but try to give potential guests an idea about where they'll be staying.

Definitely use the caption feature for your photos. That helps a lot with helping guests understand your home. For example, say where the bathroom is relative to the bedrooms. Say what size beds are in each room. You can mention that in the description too. You have a lovely deck and  outside seating area. Mention those things. Mention the hot tub. Guest don't tend to read everything, so the trick is to have information in multiple places, and hope they'll get a clue. You are "selling" your property to guests. Make it appealing so they want to stay. Be realistic as well. For example, I have a neighbor who shoots guns. I mention it in my listing as a noise potential issue. The more you explain to guests, the less they have to complain about when they stay. Hopefully you get the idea.

As to the calendar, if you're on a laptop, the calendar icon is on the top menu. If you're using the app, it's on the bottom. Find the date or dates you need to block, and drag your cursor across those dates. You'll have the option to block them in a window that appears on the right side of your screen. In the app it's on the bottom.  If you can't drag across multiple dates, do them one at a time.

Definitely come back to this forum if you need any more help. Your place looks awesome and I hope you'll be very successful! Kia

Hello,

Open the Airbnb app, at the bottom tap the “ calendar” icon , once in the calendar , tap the day or days you want to block , then go to the bottom of the screen and tap, “ block nIghts” and you’re done.

Thanks Suzanne,

Sorry but I don't see a calander icon at all.
