Renting Current Main Residence

We love in a very Desirable Air BnB area and like to leave during busy holidays to avoid the madness, usually the population DOUBLES these weekends. We would not mind renting out our house but what do you all do with your personal items? Clothes in Closet? Dresser? Valuables keepsakes out in the common areas? 

What kind of precautions do you take?

You need to take every precision that you can and hide in lock wardrobes every personnel items that you do not what guest to see, touch, wear, break or steal.

I rent my own chalet that has been gear toward renting and despite that, it is a lot of effort to hide everything each time.

and you also need to have pretty towels and a spotless house for your guests, etc
